While Mini continues to intrigue fans with its off-road version of the Countryman, the company has briefly changed course and created something in tune with the spirit of festival season. In collaboration with Austrian design studio Vagabund, the compact SUV has been transformed into a pair of music-focused vehicles. Carscoops reports this.
The unique examples are built on the Countryman S ALL4 base and adapted for use as mobile sound stages at festivals and outdoor public events. Both vehicles feature flared wheel arches, custom bumpers and 3D-printed 20-inch wheel trims whose design is reminiscent of acoustic equipment rather than off-road accessories.
The custom roof racks are made from laser-cut aluminum plates and stainless mesh, again referencing the design of the speaker grilles. The key difference between the two versions lies in the color finish: one is finished in Melting Silver with beige and white accents, while the other is finished in a darker Midnight Black.
