The Japanese company announced a novelty for Europe, for which it will return the name Grandis, under which a three -row minivan was produced from 2003 to 2011. This time it will get the renamed version [Renault Symbioz](https://motor.ru/news/renault-symbioz-02-05-2024.htm)-crossovers based on Captur, represented in the spring of last year. The debut of the new Grandis is expected in July 2025.

The revived Mitsubishi Grandis will be built on the CMF-B platform, which also underlies Mitsubishi ASX-“Gemini” Captur-Mitsubishi Colt, Renault Clio, Captur, Symbioz and Arkana, Nissan Micra and Juke, as well as Romanian Dacia cars.

The crossover from the Japanese brand will receive options with a “soft” and a full -fledged hybrid borrowed from Renault. To differ from the French model Mitsubishi will be nameplates, the name and the proprietary lattice of Dynamic Shield.

Grandis is promised a “spacious and universal” interior with a 10.4-inch screen of a Google multimedia system, like Symbioz and Captur, as well as a complete set of active security and assistance systems ADAS.
