More than 10 thousand people lined up for the new Gac S7 in China

That is how many buyers placed an order for a new GAC hybrid crossover in the first 12 hours from the moment of sales. The model is offered in the home market with a benzoelectric installation, front or all -wheel drive and in six levels of equipment. Prices lie in the range from 175.8 to 229.8 thousand yuan, which in terms of rubles at the current rate is 2–2.63 million. The crossover is waiting in Russia.

The GAC S7 is a classmate LI Auto L6 4.9 meters long with a wheelbase of 2.88 meters, which is slightly inferior to the dimensions of the GS8 familiar to us. It is driven by a hybrid installation consisting of a 1.5 turbo engine with a capacity of 160 horsepower and one or two electric motors depending on the modification. In the first case, the electric motor develops 231 horsepower, while the total return of the installation is 392 forces. The all -wheel drive version is laid by the second electric motor on the rear axle, and the power of such a system is 501 strength.

The most affordable modification is equipped with an iron-phosphate battery with a capacity of 21.3 kilowatt-hour, which provides up to 155 kilometers in the course of pure electricity in the CLTC cycle. The total range reaches 905 kilometers. A monotive version with a 36.3-kilowatt battery and a margin of 205 and 1150 kilometers, respectively, is located on a step above. There is one all-wheel drive modification, and it is laid for a 36.3 kilowatt-hour battery. With her, the crossover passes in electric mode 180 kilometers, and in mixed – 1020 kilometers.

According to unofficial data, the GAC S7 may also enter the Russian market – the novelty is waiting in our first quarter of 2026. However, there was no confirmation of this from the GAC.
