Motorcycles in Russia will rise in price by 30% due to devaluation and a reduction in the key rate

In the meantime, at the beginning of the year, prices for motorcycles are stable, sellers are offering discounts on 2025 stock. The head of the S.MOTO company, Sergei Fiveysky, told the Autostat agency about this.

“A possible devaluation of the ruble could significantly increase prices for motor vehicles. In addition, price growth may be affected by a sensitive reduction in the key rate, followed by an increase in demand due to the withdrawal of money from deposits. Prices could rise by 10-30% by April, depending on the brand,” Fiveisky said.

According to the expert, Chinese brands will continue to confidently occupy the market, maintaining leadership in all segments – from small-capacity mopeds to powerful motorcycles and ATVs. Supplies from China have been established, and buyers are increasingly choosing more equipped models for comparable money.

At the same time, there are no prerequisites for the return of Japanese, European or American manufacturers in the near future – sanctions pressure remains. Indian brands can expand their presence in Russia, but the expert does not expect a serious surge in sales this year.

Earlier it was reported that sales of the updated Tank 700 would start in China.
