Avatr ### Oting “Daughter” Sinomach Automobile began supplying frame cars based on Nissan to Russia. The first-born was an SUV with a name written in Cyrillic – [Паладин](https://motor.ru/news/oting-paladin-29-02-2024.htm). It is built on the Nissan Terra platform and is equipped with a two-liter Mitsubishi engine producing 218 horsepower (360 Nm). The price without discounts starts at 3,799,000 rubles. A hardtop pickup truck debuted in the fall [Oting Palasso](https://motor.ru/news/oting-palasso-16-10-2024.htm) with the same equipment, sales of which should begin in the first quarter of 2025.
Oting ### Knewstar [«Ньюстар»](https://motor.ru/news/knewstar-russia-19-09-2024.htm) is one of the brands created specifically for Russia. In its only car so far – the cross-coupe 001 – one can easily recognize the Geely Tugella, familiar to Russians. Under the hood it has a 2.0 engine with a power of 200 or 238 horsepower, the “base” has full LED optics, a panoramic roof with a sunroof and red brake calipers. Price – from 4,163,190 rubles without discounts.
Knewstar ### Soueast The brand brought two crossovers at once [Soueast](https://motor.ru/news/soueast-18-09-2024.htm), owned by the Chinese South East (Fujian) Motor. This is a large SUV of the D-class S09 and a city SUV of the C-class S07. Both are clones of Jetour (Chery brand) – X90 Plus and X70 respectively. The larger 09 is equipped with 1.6 and 2.0 engines with a power of up to 197 horsepower and costs from 3,559,000 rubles, 07 – only a 1.6-liter with 190 horsepower, its price starts from 3,099,000 rubles. The launch of Soueast 06, an analogue of the popular Jetour Dashing in Russia, is planned for 2025.
Soueast ### M-Hero SUV Supplies [M-Hero](https://motor.ru/news/m-hero-05-02-2024.htm), nicknamed the “Chinese Hummer,” was organized by the Motorinvest company. It has an extravagant appearance, three electric motors with 816 horsepower and an internal combustion engine that acts as a generator to recharge a lithium battery with a capacity of 65 kilowatt-hours. There are a ton of off-road features, including a “transparent” hood feature and a “crab mode”. And the Off-Road mode increases the ground clearance up to 326 millimeters! The price is also impressive – almost 16,000,000 rubles.
M-Hero ### MG Originally British [MG](https://motor.ru/lab/mg-russia.htm), purchased by the Chinese SAIC, entered the Russian market with a whole scattering of models. These are the 5 sedan, 6 and 7 liftbacks, ZS, HS, RX5 and RX9 crossovers, RX8 SUV, 4 EV hatchback and Cyberster roadster. The deliveries are not carried out by SAIC itself, but by the Yekaterinburg company Mir-Distributor, which works directly with the Chinese. The MG 5 sedan (Roewe i5 clone) is offered for a minimum of 1,999,000 rubles, and the most expensive model – the 544-horsepower Cyberster with lambo doors – is promised to be delivered for 7,600,000 rubles.
MG ### Wey Sales started at the beginning of the year [Wey](https://motor.ru/news/wey-05-15-02-2024.htm) from Great Wall: the brand brought the 05 hybrid crossover with a 421-horsepower unit, acceleration to “hundreds” in five seconds exactly and an impressive price at 5,999,000 rubles. Later it was joined by an even more expensive Wey 07 for 6,899,000 with a 5.15-meter body and a power reserve of 1,140 kilometers (according to Chinese measurements). The third model was the 80 superminivan, which has a six-seat Lounge version with captain’s chairs and a star ceiling. Such a van was valued at 8,599,000 rubles.
Wey ### Seres Chinese premium brand Aito in Russia [появилась](https://motor.ru/news/seres-in-russia-18-04-2024.htm) under the export name Seres. The cars are transported by the former Mercedes-Benz distributor MB Rus, who also provides a guarantee. The model range includes M5, M7 and M9 all-terrain vehicles with a Russified multimedia system and a starting price of 4,990,000 rubles for the “five”. The M5 is an all-wheel drive hybrid with a 487-horsepower unit, and the top one is the 5.2-meter flagship M9 with air suspension, 10 screens and Huawei headlights. There is no price on the brand’s website yet.
Seres ### Lynk & Co A Tangled Story came out with [Lynk & Co](https://motor.ru/news/lynk-and-co-russia-21-11-2024.htm), owned by Geely. No new brand was invented for it, but cars appeared in Russia simultaneously with the return of the smartphone manufacturer Meizu, also part of the Geely holding. The 08 hybrid crossover and the Z07 electric sedan were introduced. Prices start from 6.99 and 7.99 million rubles, respectively. The debut is rather semi-official: Lynk & Co is transported in complex ways by the Chinese company DreamSmart, which declared itself a distributor. But there is a full guarantee and a Russified media system.
Lynk & Co ### Xcite Xcite is a brand with its own production: cars are assembled using the large-knot method at the St. Petersburg Avtozavod, formerly owned by Nissan. Its range includes crossovers X-Cross 7 and X-Cross 8, which are – again – easily recognizable Chinese models. They are equipped with 1.6-liter engines with 147 and 150 horsepower, respectively, and cost from 2,499,000 and 2,995,500 rubles. The brand is not doing very well: [продажи вялые](https://motor.ru/news/xcite-results-06-12-2024.htm), there are no production plans for 2025, not to mention new products. They’re walking [слухи](https://motor.ru/news/xcite-problems-spb-18-11-2024.htm) that cooperation with the Chinese is hanging by a thread.
Xcite ### Solaris Feels much better [Solaris](https://motor.ru/news/solaris-sales-03-10-2024.htm), which produces the “state employees” beloved by Russians under new names. The renamed Hyundai Solaris, Creta, Kia Rio and Rio X are assembled by AGR at the ex-Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg, which was relaunched in February. According to unconfirmed reports, components are taken from warehouse stocks that remained after the Koreans left. The Solaris sedan, now called HS, costs from 2,020,000 rubles, and the former Creta – from 2,513,000 rubles.
Solaris ### Amberauto launched its brand in 2024 at the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant, where BMW, Kia and Hyundai were previously assembled. Its first and so far only model, the Amberauto A5, is an electric sedan JMEV GSE jointly developed by the Chinese JMC and Renault. It has a 160-horsepower engine, a 60.2-kilowatt-hour battery that allows you to travel 520 kilometers without recharging, and a price of 3,399,000 rubles. Amberauto ### VGV Crossovers of the Chinese brand appeared in Russia with a delay [VGV](https://motor.ru/news/vgv-russia-03-09-2024.htm) (Sinotruk). Due to problems with certification, mid-size crossovers U70Pro and U75Plus began selling in September. Both were adapted to Russian conditions, replacing fifty components each and adding a “winter” package. All-terrain vehicles can have five or seven seats. The “junior” U70Pro is equipped with a 1.5 turbo engine with 143 horsepower, the “senior” U75Plus is equipped with a two-liter supercharged 2.0 unit with a capacity of 199 horsepower. The price of the first starts from 2,299,900 rubles, the second – from 2,949,900 rubles.
VGV ### Rox In December they presented in Russia [Rox 01](https://motor.ru/news/rox-russia-19-12-2024.htm) is a Chinese SUV in the spirit of Land Rover Defender. Rox Motor was founded by the head of the manufacturer of robotic vacuum cleaners Roborock, the design was developed by the Italians from Pininfarina, and the production is carried out by BAW (Beijing Automobile Works). The “zero-first” has a gasoline-electric system based on a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine with a pair of electric motors, producing 476 horsepower at its peak. In hybrid mode, the SUV can travel up to 1,300 kilometers.
Rox ### Deepal Another sub-brand of Changan is coming – [Deepal](https://motor.ru/news/deepal-russia-14-11-2024.htm), created in 2022 to produce electric cars and hybrids in the mid-price segment. The S05 crossover with a length of 4.62 meters should reach Russia: in the hybrid version its installation produces 218 forces, in a purely electric version – 238. Recently, the Russians [рассказали](https://motor.ru/news/deepal-crash-test-12-12-2024.htm) about the crash test of the “older” crossover S07, so it’s likely that they will bring it to us. In addition to the S05 and S07, the Deepal line at home includes the SL03 and L07 liftbacks, as well as the G318 SUV.
Deepal ### Belgee In the summer, Belgee began to be officially supplied to Russia. Like Knewstar, this is a Geely with different nameplates, but assembled at the BelGee plant in Belarus. The cars have been sold since the fall of 2023 “under the wing” of Geely, but the brand began to have its own dealership centers only in July 2024. The range includes two crossovers, X50 and X70, also known as Geely Coolray and Geely Atlas Pro. The cost starts from 2,480,190 and 2,826,190 rubles, respectively.
Belgee ### Jidu A confusing story has turned out with Jidu, founded by Geely and the “Chinese Google” Baidu. In the process of preparing the material, it became known that the young brand [разорилась](https://motor.ru/news/jidu-crash-china-14-12-2024.htm), without having time to enter our market, and its financial director disappeared along with the accounting data. However, the Russian distributor hastened to report that this is just a matter of business restructuring, and the promised supplies [будут](https://motor.ru/news/jidu-23-12-2024.htm). The first-born should ~~or should be~~ be the crossover Robocar 01, close to Zeekr, with a dual-engine power plant and a power reserve of up to 700 kilometers.

The trend started two years ago continues: Chinese cars, which account for about 60 percent of sales, are still arriving. While some particularly active manufacturers from the Middle Kingdom are presenting their 10th and even 20th car under different brands, others are stalling with the first. Experts remind us that the market is not rubber: the assortment will stop growing at a frantic pace, the struggle for buyers will begin, and not everyone will survive in it. However, for now it continues to be filled with “Chinese”, who are becoming more and more familiar, and conditionally Russian newcomers.
