Nissan introduced the X-Trail (aka Rogue) in Japan in the Nismo version. The power plant remained almost untouched, but the “technique” was finalized for better turning, increasing stability and smoothness. The X-Trail Nismo suspension received new Kayaba Swing Valve shock absorbers to suppress rolls, which were not previously put on Nissan. Thanks to this, the crossover feels more stable on the road.

The NISMO version is easy to recognize thanks to the branded body kit – dark chrome in front, bumpers, side skirts and rear -view mirrors with red stripes. In the cabin – the contrast of black and red, the recaro sports seats on the front row and NISMO logos.
In June, the NISMO version acquired Nissan Patrol. The SUV received a 3.5-liter V6, forced up to 495 horsepower, and various refinements to match the increased return. Such Patrol is intended only for the Middle East market.
