Ora 03 that is sold in Russia has been updated. But so far only in China

Great Wall Motor brought to the market a modernized version of the electric chick and opened prices. Ora 03, sold in the PRC under the name Good Cat or Haomao, is offered in two trim levels costing from 83,800 to 106,800 yuan or from 920,000 to 1,170,000 in terms of rubles. For comparison, in Russia for a pre -reform model they ask for from 3,499,000 rubles.

The appearance of the hatchback has changed locally: the updated Ora 03 has new bumpers and air intakes located vertically, as well as other wheel wheels. The version of the GT prefix with red accents and a more “sports” design of the front end remained almost without innovations.

There are more changes inside. Instead of a cluster uniting two screens, 03 has a more relevant configuration – separate “tidy” and central monitor with a diagonal of 10.25 and 14.6 inches, respectively.

The multimedia system works on the Coffee OS 3 OS and is “friends” with Huawei Hicar, Apple Carplay and Carlink. In addition, the hatchback received a new steering wheel and rear -view mirrors with a memory function and a set of electronic assistants to the second level of autonomy (L2).

The power palette is reduced, but in Russia this is unlikely to be noted: we have Ora 03 only with a 171-horsepower engine installed on the front axle. He remained in service, like a 143-horsepower, but the most powerful engine for 184 horsepower was excluded.

Regardless of the unit, the electric car is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 45.9 kilowatt hours. It is enough for 401–430 kilometers of the journey, and about half an hour will take to charge from 30 to 80 percent. There were other, larger batteries for 47.8 or 57.7 kilowat-hours, but they also disappeared from the gamut. With the “top” Ora 03 passed to 501 kilometers without recharging.

In Russia, the hatch is equipped with a 63.1-kilowatt battery, providing about 500 kilometers of autonomous passage.

According to dealers, Ora did not officially “live” in our country. The brand, represented only by model 03, does not carry cars to Russia since 2023, and new supplies are not expected. In addition, sales are very modest. The dealers announced Ora’s departure in April, but there were still no official notifications.
