Photos of the new Xiaomi Kunlun crossover have been published on the Internet

The car was seen in a thin camouflage film, which hardly hides the exterior details, reports Carnewschina.

The Kunlun is a full-size, seven-seat SUV with a three-row interior. It will allow Xiaomi to increase its market share in the NEV segment.

Codename Kunlun, but there is a possibility that the model will hit the market as Xiaomi YU9. The spy photos show a closed front end with massive block headlights, a trapezoidal air intake and air ducts on the sides of the bumper.

The car has a high hood line, lidar on the roof, electric running boards, semi-hidden door handles and large wheels. The length of the SUV is believed to be about 5.2 meters.

It was previously reported that Kunlun will receive a battery with a capacity of more than 70 kWh, an electric range of more than 400 km, and with a gasoline generator – more than 1,200 km. The fact that the Kunlun is being tested alongside the Li Auto L9 suggests that Xiaomi is using the L9 as a benchmark.

Xiaomi Auto currently sells three models: the SU7 sedan, the SU7 Ultra sports car and the YU7 crossover. During January-April 2026, deliveries of the brand exceeded 110 thousand units. This month Xiaomi will introduce the fourth model – the YU7 GT SUV with a power of 990 hp.

Previously, the iconic cars of the seventies were named.
