Porsche will make a road hypercar based on a prototype for Le-Man

The German brand shared a darkened teaser of an nameless model with an extreme silhouette and released a press release dedicated to Hypercaru 917 for public roads. According to indirect signs, it is obvious: in June 2025, Porsche adapts to modern ecology and safety standards for 963 racing for endurance! However, there are few details.

Porsche recalled that exactly 50 years ago, a sports prototype 917 with an opposite twelve -cylinder engine went to public roads. Then Hypercar was ordered by the Italian Count Rossi: the client wished that the champion of 24 hours of Le Man could be registered as an ordinary car and drive every day. Engineers added rear -view mirrors, turn signals, a crax and a special exhaust: after that Porsche 917 was registered in the UK!

The unusual project of half a century ago was remembered for a reason, it seems that in 2025 a similar fate is waiting for the racing Porsche 963. However, officially this fact is not confirmed, limiting himself to intriguing phrases “You can start building your assumptions”. It can be expected that the “road” sports prototype will be released with a limited edition, because for a single copy the costs will not pay off for sure.
