Pragmatics: car maintenance will rise in price by 10% in 2026

Over the past year, regular car maintenance has become 10% more expensive for Russians, and this year car owners will face a similar price increase. Alexander Shaprinsky, commercial director of the Pragmatika dealership network, told Motor magazine about this.

“Maintenance cost by market [в 2025 году] overall increased by 8-10% compared to 2024. This year the price increase will also be up to 10%,” the expert noted in an interview with the magazine.

According to him, such dynamics are affected by inflation, rising prices for spare parts, an increase in the cost of related services to ensure the operation of the service, for example, utility bills, rent of premises, etc.

Prior to this, automobile lawyer Lev Voropaev said that drivers whose cars were damaged during service must correctly record the resulting defects. The lawyer advised motorists to capture the damage on camera in such a way that it would be clear that the vehicle was in a technical center. In addition, you need to videotape the address and name of the service.
