Revenue in the Russian car market set the anti -record

The turnover from sales of cars in the first two months of 2025 amounted to 495 billion rubles, and calculated at Avtostat-info. In January, manufacturers managed to earn 264 billion, and in January – 231 billion, which became the lowest indicator over the past year. For comparison: over the same months of last year, revenue amounted to 568 billion rubles.

The leader in the volume of revenue is still domestic Lada. However, its turnover in February decreased from the January 36.5 billion to 32.7 billion rubles. Among foreign companies, the championship holds Haval with a revenue of 27.5 billion in February (33.8 billion in January).

The five leaders also included Chery (23.8 billion), Geely (18.4 billion) and Changan (12.5 billion). The results of all were lower than the January.

As for the models, Lada Vesta brought the most money – 12.7 billion rubles. The decrease compared to January is slight relative to the general turnover – 100 million. In second place is the Cher’s Tiggo 7 Pro Max crossover with 11 billion rubles (12.2 billion in January), in the third – Lada Granta with 10.1 billion rubles (12.1 billion months earlier).

Haval earned 9.9 billion on Jolion, and Geely on Monjaro – 8.6 billion rubles.

In parallel with a reduction in the car market, the volume of vehicles of cars to Russia falls. However, the case is not only in the overstator of the warehouses: the plants over the past year noticeably increased production volumes, “prescribing” a number of foreign cars on their conveyors.
