Robotized transmissions from the creator of DSG will produce in Russia

The production of gearboxes at the facilities of the GWM plant in the Tula region was announced by the head of the region Dmitry Milyaev. The governor visited the Shanghai car dealership, met with the founder of Great Wall Weem Jianzem and agreed to expand cooperation. In the future, the company intends to localize the details of the interior and exterior in Russia, including the instrument panels.

The meeting of the head of Great Wall and the Governor of the Tula Region was closed, so neither the transmission nomenclature nor the terms of the project are known. However, it can be expected that in Russia 7-speed pre-sequential “robots” are localized, which are placed on all double-pedal models of the HAVAL with the transverse location of the engine.
