Rolls-Royce announced its second electric car

In the coming year, another “green” model will be introduced, which will join the Specter coupe, which turned out to be very successful, unexpectedly even for Rolls-Royce itself. The brand will invest £300 million to expand and modernize its Goodwood plant. Part of the funds will also be spent on expanding customization options for discerning customers.

The Goodwood plant is set to see its biggest investment since it opened 20 years ago. This will allow Rolls-Royce to add a second electric car to the line-up, which will be released in 2025. According to insiders, this will be a crossover, which will be inferior in size to the Cullinan. Now the plant employs more than 2.5 thousand employees who assemble up to 28 cars per day.

Also, Rolls-Royce once again reminded that they plan to switch completely to electric propulsion. The era of petrol luxury cars is due to end in 2031, when the last V12 models will retire. The brand has passed the stage of hybrids.
