Work on the Saga pilot series has already been launched.

In addition to the history of AvtoVAZ, the series will also tell about the life of the region, “and therefore the whole country,” said the producer and head of the film company Alexander Ostro-Building-Kvanchiani. The viewer will be able to look at the era through the eyes of ordinary factory workers, doctors, security forces and officials.

Mostly regional actors will play. However, any resident of the Samara region, who does not even have an acting education, will be able to try their hand. For historical reliability, the “pool of advisers and consultants” is attracted, which continues to replenish. It will probably include specialists of AvtoVAZ itself.

In addition to working on the “pilot”, preparations for the main shooting and the completion of the final version of the script are underway. The film studio has not yet disclosed the date of the premiere of the saga.
