Russian drivers are massively buying additive tablets to reduce fuel consumption

Their sales have increased 2.5 times over the past week, reports the Baza Telegram channel.

As Baza found out, car owners are actively buying up the “miracle remedy”: one tablet costs 50-80 rubles and is allegedly designed for 200 liters of gasoline.

Manufacturers promise improved combustion efficiency, stabilization of internal combustion engine operation, and even the transformation of AI-92 into AI-95. However, experts and many car enthusiasts call this nothing more than a “placebo for the engine” that does not affect the quality of the fuel.

Moreover, improper use of additives can lead to serious problems: drivers complain about injector failure, especially when mixed with additives already present in the fuel at gas stations.

Experts urge not to succumb to marketing tricks and not to risk the performance of the car for the sake of dubious savings, notes Baza.

Previously, Americans sued Ram because of the “extra” gears in the box.
