Russian-Rising Championship starts in the suburbs in the next weekend

In the multifunctional complex of extreme sports RDRC Racepark, located in Bykovo near Moscow, on May 24 and 25, the first stage of the Russian Cup for Dreg-Ricing-RDRC will be held. About 200 athletes on cars and motorcycles will take part in it. Many cars were significantly modified before the start of the season. For example, Skoda Yeti received a motor with a capacity of 1200 hp, and the rotary VAZ-2110-a longitudinally located engine.

On May 24 and 25, the most powerful and fast cars and motorcycles of Russia will gather in RDRC Racepark to take part in the next RDRC season. Already now we can say that this will be the most competitive and interesting championship in the history of Russian drag racing. At the start of the season, about 200 participants are expected, and there are more athletes in each test category.

In 2025, newcomers will not only debut, but also veterans return. So, a powerful delegation from the Far East has already arrived in Bykovo-the Khabarovsk pilots will participate in several Nissan GT-R R32 and Toyota Chaser with a capacity of about 2000 hp. Elshan Aslanov, whose VAZ-2110 with a three-section rotor engine, became the legend of the world drag-racing. By the new season, the pilot changed the location of the engine from the transverse to the longitudinal. The goal is to update the European record ¼ miles.

In RDRC Moto, a large -scale update of personal records is expected – a number of riders significantly rebuilt their motorcycles. The bikes were easier as possible, the standard rear pendants replaced with elongated ones, and several motorcycles received turbines.

The first stage will be held together with a large -scale exhibition of American cars from Mad Buckets, the largest community of owners of American classic cars. It will be attended by a variety of representatives of the American automobile industry, from the hot-rods of the 1950s to modern Mascars. By tradition, participants not only put their cars, but also start at the Russian Weekend Drags Dreg Festival.

The Saturday program, May 24, will begin with a grand opening at 10:00. All day, until 20.00, guests will be able to enjoy the roar of engines and spectacular races. On Sunday, May 25, races will start at 10:00. The closure of the site for the audience is scheduled for 19:00.
