Russians began to spend nine percent more on one gas station

In the first half of 2025, Russian drivers refueled on average 1288 rubles at a time, and the analysts of the Sberspasibo loyalty program calculated. This amount is nine percent more than in the same period of the last year.

The largest amount of expenses in six months is expected in Moscow. From January to June, metropolitan motorists refuel 63.9 billion rubles. In second place is the Moscow region with a huge margin and 39 billion rubles, and in the third-St. Petersburg with 26 billion.

At the same time, expenses for one person are the largest in the Chukchi Autonomous Okrug. There, a month, one driver buys gasoline and diesel on an average of 11.2 thousand rubles. The second place went to the Lugansk People’s Republic with a result of 9.2 thousand rubles, the third – the Magadan region with 8.4 thousand.

The Russian leading regions on the availability of gasoline are transferred to every fifth car dealership in Russia predicted closing Formula 1.

The indicator of St. Petersburg, which entered the top ten, was six thousand rubles, and Moscow was already 13th place with 5.8 thousand a month. The same result from the Altai Republic.

Despite the rise in price of refueling, Russia squeezed into the top 15 of Europe on the availability of gasoline according to the results of the first half of the year. It was in 15th place, between Spain and Kazakhstan: for the average salary, Russians can buy 1360 liters of AI-95. Luxembourg still occupies the first place in the ranking.
