Rare Russian cars found themselves in Colorado, where they were thrown after an unsuccessful attempt to commercial launch. The OKA Sales Project in the United States in the early 2000s did not live up to expectations, despite attempts to transfer the model to electric trustees and even promote it through a motorsport. One of the copies participated in the SCCA races under the Synlube brand and is still preserved in sports coloring with a security frame.
In the American state of Colorado, several copies of the Russian Hatchback “Oka” were discovered on one of the car dumps. According to published photographs, these machines are in a neglected state. It is known that they were imported into the United States by private individuals as part of an experiment to launch available city transport, but it was not possible to implement the project.

In the early 2000s, the American company Mirox, based in Nevada, made attempts to promote Oka as a budgetary means of transportation at short distances. The production of a car in Russia soon ceased, and the demand for a model in the United States was extremely low. Later, the company tried to create an electric version of the hatchback, but this idea did not lead to commercial success. One of the attempts to promote was participation in the SCCA car racing with the support of Synlube.
Last fall, an unusual dump of cars was also found in Switzerland. In the canton of St. Gallen, on the territory of the commercial zone of the Kirhberg municipality, dozens of vintage machines were discovered.
