American buyers highly appreciated the laconic design and reliability of the Volga’s assembly. The willingness to pay for a Soviet car is higher than for a new Ford Mustang, confirms the growing demand. This was reported by the SHOT Telegram channel.
“Our cars with the legendary “running deer” began to be driven more and more often on the roads of USA. Locals even began to actively search for where they could buy Volgas and buy them at every opportunity. The Americans themselves say that they are delighted with the build quality, the interior and the free space in the cabin. Enterprising dealers have already begun posting advertisements with the US flag and American landscapes in the background, so that the buyer can immediately assess how the Volga will be look in local conditions,” the publication says.
According to the channel, the price range for Volgas in the USA varies from 10 to 40 thousand dollars (820 thousand – 3.3 million rubles). For comparison: a new Ford Mustang is estimated by American dealers at approximately 3 million rubles. The greatest demand is for cars manufactured between 1976 and 1990, which are valued for their laconic Soviet design.
