Sitrak has launched production of mining dump trucks that will compete with BelAZ

Mining dump trucks with particularly large payloads have appeared in the Sitrak brand range. If previously the Chinese company produced equipment capable of transporting from 90 to 135 tons of rock, now options for 150 and 170 tons have been created. Representatives of the brand told Motor magazine about this.

Three-axle dump trucks have a 6×4 wheel arrangement. The heaviest modifications are driven by a 660-horsepower 15.3-liter turbodiesel: as the manufacturer assures, the engine life exceeds 2 million km.

It is separately clarified that the 150- and 170-ton vehicles are fundamentally different from their predecessors in their reinforced design, reduced fuel consumption and adaptation to particularly difficult operating conditions.

The vehicle is distinguished by its unusual appearance, since the manufacturer equipped the dump truck with a compact cabin module, reminiscent of half the cabin of a large truck.

In Russia and neighboring countries, the quarry truck segment is, for the most part, occupied by products of the BelAZ automobile plant. But Belarusian cars have a two-axle layout.
