From January to August 2025, 17,474 Solaris cars were sold in Russia – that is, Hyundai and Kia with other nurses. The result was 123 percent better than during the same period last year, the head of the Avtostat agency Sergei Tselikov reports in his Telegram. However, it is worth noting that from January to February 2024, Solaris was not sold. The brand entered the market only in March.
In general, since March 2024, Solaris cars diverged in the amount of 32 thousand pieces. This year, sales growth was almost continuous: a small rollback was recorded only in May, which became the most “quiet” month for car market. In January, the Russians bought 1292 Solarisa, and in August – 3668.
The most popular model is Solaris HS, aka Hyundai Solaris. The sedan accounts for 48.5 percent of all sales. The second place is occupied by ex-Creta or Solaris HC with a 22.8 percent share. The shares of KRS (Kia Rio) and KRX (Kia Rio X) are almost the same – 14 percent.

Tselikov reports that the demand for Solaris has already exceeded the Chinese Omoda, GAC, EXEED and JAECOO. In the general ranking of August, the brand managed to take eighth place.
