Sollers minivan Russian assembly strongly fell before the start of sales

In Kazan, at an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the company representative called the price of the SP7 unit SP7 from five million rubles. Thus, in 2.5 months on the way to sales, the new Sollers fell significantly, because at the end of February, the general director of domestic holding Nikolai Sobolev voiced a starting price at the level of 5.5 million rubles.

It seems that the Sollers SP7 localization project (the initial Jac Refine RF8) is ahead of schedule, because now the company expects to start sales in the summer, and in February the holding planned to enter the Russian market with minivan only in the fall. However, serial machines have not yet been shown: visitors met a prototype.

Sollers SP7 intend to release in Elabuga on the same line with the SF1 van and the Atlant family. At the start of sales, one rich equipment with a gasoline 2.0-liter turbo engine (224 hp), a classic 8-speed automatic and front-wheel drive is expected. The seven -seater salon, on the second row “captain” chairs with electric drive, massage and ventilation, there are two hatches, chambers of a circular review, non -clock access and six airbags.

Currently, the most affordable offer in the minivan segment with an accent for premium is the GAC M8 at a price of 5.5 million rubles. The top version will be a million more expensive. If the Sollers SP7 is really sold for five million, the novelty has good chances to take a leading position in the segment.
