Subaru Outback changed the generation

At the Subaru New York, the Subaru showed a whole scattering of new products, and the seventh-generation Outback was one of the main ones. The model traveled in dimensions to a full -fledged crossover, acquired an improved salon and autopilot of the second level of autonomy, while the engines in the gamut are the same as the predecessor. The start of sales in the United States is scheduled for the end of 2025, and in 2026, the Wilderness off-road execution with increased road clearance and protective body kit will enter the market.

The “seventh” Subaru Outback looks more square compared to its predecessor, in addition, it has noticeably grown in height – five centimeters. The salon became more spacious, additional space in the trunk appeared (its volume increased to 980 liters when loading to the ceiling), improved sound insulation. The interior was largely modernized, although it is still quite conservative. For example, the instrument panel is now exclusively digital, its diagonal is 12.3 inches, and the screen of the multimedia system now has a horizontal rather than vertical orientation. The settings of the climatic system were carried into a separate control unit with physical buttons. Finally, the design of the gearbox selector has changed.

This is a “atmospheric” of 2.5 liters with a capacity of 183 horsepower and a 2.4 -liter turbo engine developing 264 forces. The gearbox is non -alternative – Variator LineArtronic, a complete drive. Outbek is promised a branded system for choosing the X-Mode soda modes, which has been finalized, and now it is more quickly adapted to the type of road surface.
