Suzuki has created an eight-seat hybrid Landy minivan with an aggressive body kit

Suzuki does not produce its own minivans, so the Landy, the lesser-known “brother” of the Toyota Noah and Voxy, has appeared in its lineup. The model was recently updated in Japan following changes to the base Toyota. Now Landy is offered only as a hybrid, available in an eight-seat version and equipped with a sports body kit as standard. What it doesn’t have is Toyota’s infotainment system. The exterior of the updated Landy is a clear example of rebranding. Unlike the 2022 version, the new car does not copy the design of the base Noah, but adopts a more aggressive front bumper and sports body kit from the top trim levels of the “relative”. The result: the front end is almost completely covered by a multi-tiered radiator grille, which looks unexpectedly bold for an eight-seat family minivan.

The Suzuki design is revealed only by emblems and a small insert above the radiator grille, painted in body color. The palette is also laconic: three gray options are available – Platinum White Pearl Mica, Metal Stream Metallic and Neutral Black.

In the interior, the main change concerns the layout: not only a seven-seater option is now offered, but also a new eight-seater option. In addition, the driver’s panel has become a little more comfortable – soft pads have appeared on it, and the screen has grown to 7 inches.
