Taxi passengers will be recorded on video to prevent conflict situations

The new functionality was reported by the Yandex Taxi press service. For video shooting, drivers do not need to install additional devices. Recording of the cabin will be maintained on a working smartphone in a special application. The video will be available exclusively for the company support team. Experts believe that the new function will quickly solve conflicts between drivers and passengers.

The shooting of the cabin will be carried out on the front camera of the smartphone without the possibility of switching to the main one. The maximum recording duration will be three minutes. At the end of the shooting, drivers will have to immediately send the material in support, since the video will not be preserved in the memory of the smartphone.

The rise in prices is three times: Moscow predicted the next rise in price of a taxi in Russia to ban the increase in the cost of a taxi for parents with children FAS will check the prices of Lada after taxi drivers

During the functionality testing, experts noted that the video recording of the situation in the cabin made it possible to prevent a third of conflict situations. At the same time, passengers are notified of video shooting using a voice message when landing in a car. Representatives of the taxi drivers’ community said that the decision will be a breakthrough in the industry and finally prove that passengers are not always right.

In mid -February, Russia was proposed to introduce a ban on increasing the cost of a taxi for passengers with children. Today, an increase in prices can reach 50 percent during order.
