Tenet 3XT is being prepared for launch in Russia: there are details about the engines

The novelty of the domestic automobile industry, the production of which is established at the former Volkswagen plant in the Kaluga region, will be offered with two motors to choose from and three variants of the gearbox. This was reported by the Portal “Chinese cars” with reference to a source familiar with the certification process. The debut of a model built on the basis of the Chinese Chery Tiggo 4 will take place this year.

Tenet 3XT of the entry-level is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine-we can assume that we are talking about the SQRE4T15 aggregate with a turbocharged capacity of 147 horsepower. A step above the step with a 1.6 -liter unit is located above. In Chery, it wears the SQRF4J16 designation and develops depending on version 149-197 forces.
