The redesign of the crossover will be restrained: the general proportions will remain the same, as well as the form of glazing, but the body panels are changed. The headlights have become narrower and now do not expand closer to the wings, the edging and drawing of the radiator grate has also changed.

The lower air intake has grown noticeably. Along the perimeter of the crossover, a plastic edging, but it can be replaced by the panel in the color of the body in the “top”. At the stern, judging by earlier spy pictures, there will be thinner lanterns and a pair of exhaust pipes.

It is already known that a parallel hybrid system will give the new CX-5 in motion. It will include a gasoline engine and two electric motors, one of which will play the role of an electricity generator.
Later, the crossover can be equipped with a new, more economical and productive Skyactiv-Z. It will also become part of the gasoline-electrical installation.
