The Avtotor plant will organize the production of Jetour and Changan cars

Kaliningrad Avtotor will soon begin assembling Jetour brand crossovers, and is also agreeing on the terms of cooperation with the Changan company, which should become one of the key partners of the Russian company. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Avtotor Valery Gorbunov told Vedomosti about this.

“The production conditions have already been agreed upon; a number of other issues need to be resolved,” Gorbunov noted to the publication. According to him, projects for the production of BAIC and SWM vehicles are also ongoing.

By the way, this year Changan will expand its model line with three new products. The list of premieres will include a completely new crossover CS35 Max, an updated Uni-S and a modification of the CS75 Pro.

Earlier, the Changan brand announced the prices of the CS35 Max crossover. In the basic version, the car is equipped with three screens, heated front seats and steering wheel, a rear view camera and a winter package.

In terms of technology, the model offers a 1.5-liter 147-horsepower turbocharged engine, a 7-speed preselective transmission and front-wheel drive.
