The Belarusian-assembled Geely Cityray crossover goes on sale

As Motor magazine learned, dealers of the Geely brand in Belarus began offering customers Geely Cityray crossovers produced by the Minsk Belgi plant. Its length is 4510, width – 1865, and height – 1650 mm. The wheelbase size is 2701 mm. The Russian prospects for the car are still unknown.

The car is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine – an in-line “four” with a capacity of 174 hp. With. (270 Nm). The transmission uses a 7-speed preselective “robot”, front-wheel drive.

In the basic version, the model costs 74,900 Belarusian rubles, that is, 2 million Russian rubles. The set of equipment includes a stabilization system, front airbags and cruise control.

The list continues with a 13.2-inch central touchscreen, virtual instruments, a rear view camera, as well as a heating kit and single-zone climate control.

The name Cityray is made up of two English words: “city” – city and “ray” – ray. It reflects the concept of a car “that will stand out and attract attention.”
