The Belarusian car market began the spring with an increase in consumer activity

In March 2026, sales of new passenger cars reached 5.7 thousand units, which is 38% higher than the result of the previous month. Such a sharp jump in sales in March may be due to pent-up demand: severe winter frosts at the beginning of the year held back buyers who were waiting for warmer weather to renew their vehicle fleet, according to analysts from the BAA Automobile Association.

The market leader remains the Belgee company, which sells cars of two brands – Belgee and Geely. The March result of these two brands is 3.2 thousand.

Russian Lada returned to its previous volumes. After a February decline of 13%, in March sales of the brand showed an increase of 77%, amounting to 0.85 thousand cars.

In the electric car segment, the increase was 85%, as 1.8 thousand units were distributed to customers. Separately noted is the Geely EX2, whose popularity soared by 125%, reaching 383 units.
