The distributor of the brand, Sinomach Auto, on June 23 launched a promotion for Russian owners of LI Auto cars (aka Li Xiang) imported through “parallel” channels. Cars can now be tied to a personal master account, but such a service will be free for only a week-until June 30.
When ordering “parallel” Li Auto, the Russians faced different risks, they note in Sinomach Auto. Cars were registered for random users from China, so they could at any time lose access to digital functions.
Legalization will solve this problem: in the official dealerships of LI Auto, the car will be tied to the personal account of the real owner. From June 23 to 30, this can be done for free, and then they will begin to take a fee for the service.
