Kazakh motorists buy cars from the Chinese brand Changan much cheaper than Russians, Motor magazine found out while monitoring the price lists of auto companies.
Thus, in Kazakhstan, the new Changan CS75 Plus can be purchased for 12.9 million tenge, which at the current exchange rate is about 2.2 million rubles. This is how much dealers in Kazakhstan are asking for the all-wheel drive version of the crossover with a 235-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission in the Luxe package. The car is manufactured in 2025, excluding discounts.
In Russia, Changan CS75 Plus in a similar Lux configuration is offered for 4.2 million rubles. The official Changan price list states that this is the recommended maximum resale price in rubles for cars produced in 2025. Thus, the difference between cars in the EAEU member countries reaches 2 million rubles or 48%.
The top version of the Changan CS75 Plus in the Tech configuration costs 13.5 million tenge (2.3 million rubles) in Kazakhstan; in Russia, a car with a similar Techno version will cost 4.3 million rubles. The difference also exceeds 2 million rubles (48%). In general, prices for a crossover in the union state start from 11.1 million tenge (from 1.9 million rubles).
