The cheapest Sollers Atlant has become an armored car for Russian special services

The Nizhny Novgorod company Armourgroup began to produce special versions of a combi with BR3 ballistic protection. Such Sollers Atlant can protect against shelling from pistols from a distance of five meters and fragments of a grenade F1. Outwardly, the van differs from the source only by the edging of the glass. From the inside, the difference is obvious, and if you open the doors, an armored -jacket is striking in the eye.

Armourgroup specialists took the cheapest Sollers Atlant with a short base, a low roof and a turbodiesel with a volume of 1.9 liters (136 hp) – such a combi costs 3.8 million rubles without taking into account discounts. The collectors take a long -drawn options with a 2.7 -liter engine (150 hp), and the basic van was booked for the first time. It is alleged that the defense was minimized by the technical characteristics.

Only the front doors and glasses are booked: the sidewalls remained standard, and the armored capsule is integrated inside. The salon is designed for six, there is protection on the ceiling and on the floor.
