The driver lost the control of the ultrama electric car Xiaomi

In the Chinese segment of the network, a video with the first accident Xiaomi Su7 Ultra, the supply of which began in China just a week ago, is dispersed. In the video published on the WEIBO social network, the yellow SU7 Ultra rides along the racing track, but it brings it in a turn, it flies out of the asphalt and lands on the fence from the tires. Carnewschina writes that at the time of the accident, the 1548-horsepower electric car rode at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour.

Sales of Xiaomi Su7 Ultra, a “charged” version of the usual SU7, started in early March. The company offered the first batch of cars at a special price of 529.9 thousand yuan (6.4 million rubles at the rate of today), while without a discount of the ultra costs from 575.9 thousand (almost 9.2 million rubles).

From the SU7, the Ultra version is characterized by the chassis settings, aerodynamics and power plant. It is driven by three electric motors, which in total develop 1548 horsepower and 1770 nm of torque. From a place up to 100 kilometers per hour, the electric car accelerates in a dizzying 1.98 seconds, but the time is indicated with the fault and in the half -wry. With the UHP class tires, the indicator will increase to 2.1 seconds, and with turlah – up to 2.3. The maximum speed is limited at a level of 350 kilometers per hour.

During an accident on the track, the airbags worked at the electric car, so the driver was seriously not injured. But the car itself was not lucky: the front part is broken, especially the left headlight and hood.

And if for the Xiaomi Su7 Ultra, an accident on the racing track was the first, then the usual SU7 has repeatedly entered the news headlines due to accidents of varying degrees of seriousness. In particular, there were cases when the brakes overheated on the track, which was noted in Xiaomi that the SU7 is intended for public roads, and not for racing.

As for the SU7 ULTRA, the company offers special training in Xiaomi Auto Elite Driving Training, and only after that go to the racing highway. Moreover, from the plant, electric cars leave with restrictions: the maximum speed is 140 kilometers per hour, and the peak power is 900 horsepower. The restriction is removed only after the driver passes 300 kilometers.
