The equipment of the KGM Torres crossover for Russia has been revealed

The new product will appear on the market in 2025 and will be offered with a 1.5 turbo engine, automatic, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Among the equipment of interest are heating, Russian-language multimedia, an impressive set of electronic assistants and eight airbags in the top version.

The exclusive distributor of KGM (formerly SsangYong) cars in Russia, REX Motors JSC, has revealed details about the trim levels of the Torres crossover. We will be supplied with Korean-assembled cars; they will receive a five-year warranty, six body color options, two interiors and three versions. The entry-level City will come with front-wheel drive, the Dream – with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, the top-end Icon – only with all-wheel drive.

The Torres is powered by a 1.5 turbo engine with 163 horsepower (280 Nm), mated to a six-speed Aisin automatic. The model includes heated side mirrors, steering wheel, front (also ventilated) and rear seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and the same main display. Multimedia is Russified and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, there is wireless charging, an electric tailgate and a set of electronic assistants.

Sales of Torres are expected to start next year. Like another KGM model – Korando. Technically, they are unified among themselves and have similar equipment. The Korando promises adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, lane departure warning, high beam control and stability control.
