The head of the analytical agency Autostat, Sergei Tselikov, summed up the results of March sales in the Chinese market. According to the expert, the total volume of all Chinese nonsense within the country in the first spring month was 61.8% – 0.8% higher than a year earlier.

The list of leading brands is headed by BYD, whose market share is 12%. The list continues with Geely Auto (10.4%), Changan Auto (6.8%) and FAW-Volkswagen (6.5%).

The top 10 is completed by Chery Automobile (4.2%), SAIC-Volkswagen (4.2%), GAC-Toyota (4%), FAW-Toyota (3.6%), Tesla (3.4%) and SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile (3.15%).

The rating of the models is as follows: – BYD Song – 66,989 pcs. – Tesla Model Y – 55,856 pcs. – Geely Xingyuan – 40,613 pcs. – ️Chery Tansuo 06 — 36,583 pcs. – ️BYD Seagull – 30,636 pcs. – ️Tesla Model 3 – 29,814 pcs. – ️Nissan Sylphy – 27,514 pcs. – ️Chery Tiggo 7 — 26,895 pcs. – ️BYD Dolphin — 25,770 pcs.

Regarding origin, the top best was formed by 6 cars created and produced by Chinese brands, and 3 by foreign products, moreover, Tesla products are represented twice.

By type of fuel, the breakdown is as follows: the list of market bestsellers includes 3 fuel cars (Chery Tansuo 06, Nissan Sylphy and Chery Tiggo 7), 1 hybrid (BYD Song) and 4 pure electric cars.
