In China, the G318 has been sold for a year and is popular, but now he will have to compete for the buyer and in Russia – his competitors will become Jetour T2 and Tank 500.
On the car carrier captured in the photo, you can notice two copies of Deepal G318 at once, both of them will be directed to tests for certification and further receipt of approval of the type of vehicle – a document that allows you to start mass supplies and sale of the model. This is spent on months, so, probably, the novelty will appear among dealers no earlier than the second half of the year.

Meanwhile, in his native China, Deepal G318 has been sold since the summer of last year, and at the start of sales the crossover caused a stir. There it is proposed with a hybrid power plant: in the basic version, it consists of a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower, acting as an energy generator, and a 252-horsepower electric motor on the rear axle. The declared fuel consumption is 6.8 liters per 100 kilometers, and on pure electricity such a G318 passes to 77 kilometers.
A four -wheel drive modification with ICEs and two electric motors, which in total, develop 430 horsepower is a step higher. Such a hybrid has adaptive air suspension, a margin without activation of the internal combustion engine is 174-184 kilometers, there are five off-road modes and imitation of the rear differential blocking.
The SUV has brutal design, it reaches five meters in length, and the road clearance is impressive 210-240 millimeters, depending on the version. There is a model in China from 176 thousand to 230 thousand yuan, which is equivalent to 2-2.7 million rubles at the rate of today.
