GAC is preparing to bring to the Russian market a new version of the flagship SUV GS8. The crossover with the Dragon prefix will go on sale on July 1, 2025 and will cost from 4,599,000 rubles, depending on the configuration. True, it is unclear whether it is a “discount” price or complete. For comparison, GL gasoline GS8 is estimated at 4,099,000 rubles, and with maximum benefit – at 3,599,000. For the top GX Traveller, they ask for 4,999,000 or 4,699,000 rubles.
The GAC press service calls the novelty at the same time both the “designer” execution of the GS8 and its updated version. Outwardly, the GS8 Dragon can be recognized by a larger radiator grille with a cellular pattern, which should resemble a dragon scales, a slightly modified front bumper and a premium part – “floating” hub caps with a brand logo.
Another feature is a welcome backlighting space near the front doors. “So the dragon wakes up to the call of the owner,” the GAC notes. The exterior can be painted in black, white, gray, silver or green.
