The Igora Drive race track will again host the Russia-Northern Forest Baja

The race will be held in two statuses: the first stage of the Russian rally-raid championship and the All-Russian motor rally competition – this is the new name of the cross-country discipline. The format of the event itself will not change.

From February 7 to 9, the Igora Drive race track near St. Petersburg will host the only rally raid in the world that takes place on snow and ice. In 2020, the “Russia – Northern Forest” baja returned to the Leningrad region from Karelia, where it took place for several years. By tradition, the race headquarters and service park are located at the Igora Drive circuit, where administrative checks and technical inspections are carried out.

The race will take place in two stages: the first stage of the Russian rally-raid championship and the All-Russian motor rally competition. The format of the event remains unchanged. On Thursday, participants will arrive at the circuit, and official tests will be organized not far from it. Administrative and technical checks will take place on Friday, as well as a prologue. Both Igora Drive itself and the surrounding areas will be used for it. On Saturday and Sunday, crews in cars and motorcyclists will go to special stages.

In 2025, the organizers redesigned the route – most of the race will take place on high-speed sections that have never previously been used as part of the Russia-Northern Forest Baja. Crews in cars will have to drive about 400 kilometers along special sections, which are laid in the Priozersky and Vyborg districts of the Leningrad region. The length of the race for motorcycle athletes is shorter – about 120 kilometers await them, but special stages will also be distributed over all three competition days.
