The Chinese IT giant prepares a second model for the premiere after the SU7 sedan is the Yu7 crossover, which will receive installations with one and two electric motors and a move of more than 700 kilometers. The start of sales of Yu7 is scheduled for June this year, but for now, spies continue to reveal its appearance in parts. This time, pictures of a partially covered salon were at the disposal of Car News China.
The Xiaomi Yu7 will not have a traditional dashboard: its functions will take on a thin display, stretched in the entire width of the windshield. The central place on the front panel will take a touchscreen of the media system in the thick frame, which can be moved closer to the driver or to the passenger. As Car News China notes, it is slightly smaller than that of the SU7. Probably, the diagonal had to be sacrificed so that a thin Phud screen was better visible.
The multimedia system will work on its own operating system Xiaomi Hyperos and “be friends” with gadgets.

The steering wheel is not like that of a sedan – it is flattened on top, covered with Alcantara and decorated with inserts similar to carbon. On the right, you can see the red Boost Mode button to activate the short-term boost-mode, on the left-another to turn on the driver’s assistance systems (ADAS). The driver’s seat will be equipped with a stand with an electric drive.

Also, the crossover will have compartments for wireless charging and Lidar on the roof indicating the presence of an autonomous driving system. Su7 has two NVIDIA platforms, Lidar, more than ten cameras and three radars. Xiaomi algorithms can recognize non -standard objects and change the trajectory, focusing on new data.
Yu7 is expected to enter the market with one and two-engine power plants. The all -wheel drive version will develop about 500 horsepower and will be able to drive without recharging more than 700 kilometers (it was previously said about 760). The expected starting price is 250 thousand yuan, which is 2.98 million in terms of rubles. The cost of the SU7 in China begins with 215 thousand yuan (2.57 million rubles). More than four million are asked for Russian aggregators for the “four -door”.
