The Jaecoo brand has revealed the characteristics of the Russian version of the J6 crossover

The length of the upcoming new product is 4509 mm, width – 1860 mm, height – 1650 mm, and the wheelbase size is 2620 mm. As the press service of the Chinese brand clarifies, this model will be chosen by those who love active recreation, so the car has decent “off-road” geometry: the approach angle is 20°, the departure angle is 30°, and the fording depth is up to 600 mm.

There is a lamp for lighting the tourist camp, and 35 compartments of different sizes for storing things. Part of the luggage can be taken away from above, since the carrying capacity of the roof rails is 75 kg.

An equally interesting fact is the special training for transporting animals. The seats have practical upholstery, and the list of options includes a luggage compartment grille and a folding ladder.

The Jaecoo J6 model was originally going to be presented at the beginning of this year. Later, the deadline was shifted to the summer, then to the fourth quarter, and now it has become clear that they promise to present the new product in the spring of 2026.

It is still unknown what power unit the crossover will receive. But the original gasoline model (in China the car is called Jaecoo J5) has a 197-horsepower 1.6 TGDI turbo engine, a preselective robot and optional all-wheel drive.

Earlier, the Jaecoo brand announced the start of Russian sales of a special J7 with a radiator grille in the style of the Range Rover Evoque. In China, such a crossover appeared almost a year ago under the name Chery Tiggo 7 with the High Energy Edition prefix.
