Advertisements for the sale of the fourth generation Continental GT Speed ​​have appeared on classified sites. Bentley began worldwide sales of such cars in the summer, and by the end of the year the two-door cars reached Moscow. There are two gray First Edition coupes in the showrooms: one has a blue interior, the other has a red interior. Depending on the modification, the price ranges from 58 to 58.5 million rubles.

In the UK, the latest Bentley Continental GT Speed ​​can be ordered for 236 thousand pounds sterling (32.7 million rubles), but cars from the First Edition series are more expensive, and they are the only ones in stock. In any case, the main new thing is under the hood: the V8 4.0 petrol engine is combined with an 8-speed robot with a built-in electric motor. Peak output – 782 horsepower and 1000 Nm!

The hybrid is capable of driving up to 80 kilometers on electric power, but the battery is 400-volt (with a capacity of 25.9 kilowatt-hours), and therefore fast charging is impossible. But there is progress in dynamics: the coupe goes from 0 to 100 km/h in “supercar”-like 3.2 seconds and reaches 335 km/h. The suspension configuration has changed: instead of three-chamber air springs, two-chamber ones are installed, and the adaptive shock absorbers have also changed.

For now, foreign dealers still have new Continental GTs from the outgoing third generation, and there are some in Russia too: they cost 10-15 million less, depending on the type of engine (W12 or V8) and configuration. However, there will no longer be non-hybrid Bentleys among the new products, because the British brand has set a course for electrification.
