The car competed in Group A, and world-famous stars managed to drive it: Juha Kankkunen, Didier Auriol and Carlos Sainz. After restoration in 2019, “Delta” was returned to its original appearance. You can buy a piece of the history of the world rally championship for 425 thousand pounds sterling.
The English dealer Duncan Hamilton Rofgo, whose specialization is racing cars of all times and eras, has put the legendary Deltona up for sale. Italian journalists gave this name to the Lancia Delta HF Integrale, and it can be translated into Russian as “Superdelta”. In our case, we are talking about the last car of the Lancia factory team to win the world rally championship. It was driven by Juha Kankkunen, Didier Auriol and Carlos Sainz, and after restoration it looks like new.

The engine here is standard – a 2.0 turbocharged four with 365 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual Lancia Abarth R90. The drive is all-wheel drive, with a Torsen self-locking unit at the rear and a viscous coupling in the center. The car was restored meticulously, with an eye to preserving authenticity, with the help of Italian racing driver Massimo Biasion. The buyer will also receive a full package of documents: original documentation, photographs, technical passports, as well as records of work done as part of the restoration.
“Superdelta” was valued at 425 thousand pounds sterling, which corresponds to 56.4 million rubles. At the same time, for the road hot hatch Delta HF Integrale 16v they ask on average 40 thousand dollars (4.2 million rubles), and for the luxurious restomod Automobili Amos Lancia Delta Futurista you will have to pay about 650 thousand euros (71.5 million rubles).
