The list of models for working in taxis has been expanded to 26 cars

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has expanded the list of domestically produced vehicles that can be used by taxi companies to transport passengers. The updated list includes crossovers Haval F7, Haval F7x, Haval Jolion and Tenet T7.

On March 1, the law on the localization of taxi cars came into force. From now on, only equipment that meets one of three criteria can be used for passenger transportation.

Among them, the car must be produced under a special investment contract (SPIC), concluded from March 1, 2022 to March 1, 2025, or with permission from the Russian government, if the SPIC was signed later.

The third option is if the localization level corresponds to 3200 points: the Ministry of Industry and Trade issues this rating annually for each specific modification.

A “grand limousine” will appear in the Mercedes-Maybach range. Automakers have a new reason to raise prices. For the powerful Lada Vesta they will ask 2.4 million rubles

Meanwhile, taxis often use cars restored after serious accidents, and their operation is associated with total savings on maintenance and underestimation of mileage.
