The Lyriq-V crossover became the fastest Cadillac

Cadillac introduced the fastest model in its history. This is an electric Lyriq-V crossover with a dual-motor power plant, launch control and special traction control settings. It accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, a tenth of a second faster than the CT5-V Blackwing sedan.

The new Lyriq-V is the fastest Cadillac ever, capable of accelerating to 60 mph (97 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds. A regular all-wheel drive crossover does the same thing in 4.9, like the Escalade IQ, so the only thing that can compete with the newcomer is the supercharged CT5-V Blackwing with acceleration to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. In addition to dynamics, the Lyriq-V will offer a unique “multi-layer” soundtrack, a Competitive driving mode with special traction control settings and standard Brembo calipers on the front axle.

Standard equipment includes a panoramic roof, an AKG Studio audio system with 23 speakers, a 33-inch display, an augmented reality head-up display, front seats with advanced lateral support and Super Cruise autopilot.

The steering wheel’s V button allows one-touch access to your preferred performance settings and launch controls. The output of the Lyriq-V power plant is 624 horsepower and 880 Nm of torque (was 510 hp and 710 Nm), the battery capacity is 102 kilowatt-hours. Charging it with alternating current from 10 to 80 percent takes 41 minutes. The nominal power reserve is stated at 459 kilometers, while the crossover costs from $79,990, which corresponds to 7.9 million rubles.
