The market of used cars in Russia set a record

In July, the Russians resold 567.2 thousand cars with mileage, calculated in Avtostat. This is 21.4 percent above the June indicator. Compared to last July, demand also grew, although not so significant – by 3.8 percent. He lost July only on October 2024, when 605.3 thousand b/U-Mashin was realized. The most popular on the “secondary” is still LADA, and the best-selling model was Lada-2017.

In July, used in July diverged in the amount of 139.2 thousand pieces. In second place was Toyota with a large margin – 58.4 thousand units, in the third – KIA with 33.1 thousand. Hyundai (31.7 thousand) and Nissan (25 thousand) also entered the TOP-5. From sixth to 10th place of the rating, where there were no “Chinese”, Volkswagen, Honda, Chevrolet, Renault and Ford are located.

In the model standings of July, the Lada 2107 sedan with 13.1 thousand resold specimens was the most popular. Behind him are Korean “state employees” of Hyundai Solaris and Kia Rio with an almost identical indicator of 11 thousand units. The fourth again became LADA-Samara-2 diverged in the amount of 10.2 thousand pieces. Closes the five Ford Focus (9.9 thousand). It is followed by Toyota Corolla, Lada 2170, Lada 4×4, Toyota Camry and Lada 2190.

However, until last July they did not reach 11 percent. The leaders are the domestic Lada, followed by the Chinese Chery, Haval, Geely and Changan.
