In the first month of 2025, 89 thousand new cars were sold in Russia-11 percent more than in January 2024. The three leaders are unchanged: the first place is held by LADA with 27.5 thousand cars and a growth of 23.6 percent, the second – HAVAL (11.8 thousand, +22.9 percent). CHECHINGS HER CHECHOOL with almost nine thousand cars sold, which is approximately equal to the level of January last year.

Geely sold 6.2 thousand cars – 30.9 percent less than a year earlier. Fifth place is Changan with 5.1 thousand cars and an increase in demand by 3.8 percent. The following are Omoda (2.3 thousand, -12.8 percent), Jetour (2.2 thousand, +117.1 percent), Belgee (1.8 thousand, +273.7 percent), Jaecoo (1.8 thousand , +98.3 percent) and Tank (1.7 thousand, -3.5 percent).

As for the models, the cheapest LADA remains the leader: 11.4 thousand people (+11.8 percent) were chosen on Granta in January. The second line is held by the Lada Vesta, the result of which is eight thousand cars and growth of one and a half times.

The third place is occupied by the most popular foreign car in Russia – Haval Jolion with 4.1 thousand sold units. Sales of a crossover, recently left from the program of preferential car loan, decreased by 4.7 percent.

The fourth and fifth places went to the Chergo 7 Pro Max (four thousand cars, +23.2 percent) and Lada Niva Travel (3.1 thousand, -3.8 percent). Behind them are the Chergo 4 Pro (2.8 thousand, +9.3 percent) and Lada Niva Legend (2.8 thousand, -16.6 percent).

The most noticeable decrease in Geely: the demand for Monjaro, which took eighth place, sank by 36.7 percent to 2.3 thousand units. The ten Haval M6 (2.3 thousand, +10.2 percent) and LADA Largus (2.2 thousand, +2876.7 percent) are closed, which in January 2024 has not yet been returned to the conveyor.
