British Autocar shared the details about the alternate of the following iteration. According to the publication, the new BMW X5 will be available in gasoline, diesel, charged hybrid, electric (IX5) and hydrogen version! However, the electric BMW IX5 will not suffer from the ICE rate: it is expected that the “battery” version will receive the components of the sixth generation electric drive, the most modern “round” batteries and an 800-volt power system. The flexibility of the Clar system will come in handy BMW, because the next generations X6 and X7 will be technically close to X -Fifth.
At the start of sales, the top version will be X5 M60, however, different power plants will hide in different markets under this index. In Europe, the bet will be made on a loaded hybrid with a 3.0-liter “bitourboster”, and in the USA and in the Middle East a moderate hybrid with a 4.4-liter V8 engine will remain. But X5 M will retain the “Biturbovosmarka” everywhere.
