The new Changan CS75 Plus has a top version with a 2.0 engine

The start of sales of the Ultra modification has been announced in China. For the first time in the fourth generation, the Changan CS75 Plus will be available with a 2.0-liter turbo engine (233 hp, 390 Nm): since the fall, the crossover has been sold only with the “younger” 1.5-liter turbo-four (192 hp). , 310 Nm). All-wheel drive is not yet expected, and the transmission is the same for all variants – a Japanese 8-speed Aisin automatic.

Changan CS75 is one of the brand’s bestsellers; the total circulation of all crossovers in the family has exceeded 2.7 million units. The fourth and third generations of the model are being sold at the same time. The new 2.0-liter version can only be identified by 20-inch wheels: no other differences in the exterior and interior are announced.

Switching to a more powerful engine will improve performance: the 0-100 acceleration time will be reduced from 7.9 to 7.3 seconds, and the top speed will increase from 190 km/h to 215 km/h. However, the curb weight will increase by 75 kilograms, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle will be 7.7 liters per 100 kilometers (+12%). Changan CS75 Plus can be refueled with AI-92 gasoline.

Currently, the most equipped fourth-generation Changan CS75 Plus costs 130 thousand yuan ($17.9 thousand), but the 2.0-liter Ultra version will definitely be more expensive. Interestingly, the third-generation crossover can cost up to 150 thousand yuan ($20.6 thousand), but dealers are offering discounts to achieve parity. In the future, the model is expected to have a hybrid version.
