The new Chery Tiggo 4 returned the basic atmospheric motor

In Indonesia, sales of a modernized model under the name Tiggo Cross have started. Outwardly and along the cabin, such a car is almost literally repeated by the Russian Cher’s Tiggo 4, however, the technique is different: with the 116-horsepower “atmospheric” 1.5 combines the variator. It cannot be ruled out that the hopeless version of the SUV will soon become “global”. In Russia, the basic Chery is only with a turbo engine and a “robot”.

Since November last year, the “junior” Cher’s crossover in Russia is simply called Tiggo 4. However, there is no most affordable technique: the atmospheric engine, the “mechanics”, and the variator have been resigned. The only combination is the “turbocharger” 1.5 (147 hp, 210 nm) and a 6-speed pre-sequential “robot”. But in foreign markets, Chery left simple and resource units.

Otherwise, the Russian and Indonesian modifications are similar: except that the steering wheel in Southeast Asia with the inscription of the Cher with words and “swings”, as on Omoda C5. Also, a fashionable non -fixed transmission selector gave way to a classic lever. Otherwise, there are no differences in the interiors. Prices are not in favor of Russians: in Indonesia, the basic version costs only 239,500,000 rupees (14.6 thousand dollars or 1.3 million rubles)!

In our country, even taking into account the shares and special offers of Tiggo 4, you can’t buy without 1,940,000 rubles, and the recommended price without trad-in and loans is 2,280,000 rubles. The top version is more expensive than 400 thousand rubles. Perhaps the “fours” will nevertheless register in Russia under the Tenet brand.
